sUmmer ThUs fAr

The days of all-nighters, late night food runs, study sessions, are all on hiatus as of now… Though I still do many of the things I do as if I was still in school, they just aren’t the result of classes and homework that never seems to end… This could be considered good or bad. I love to learn, that’s why I’m paying thousands of dollars each semester, to be gifted with a huge amount of information that I will be tested on in a week… idk it could be fun. But I also don’t miss the pointless busy work that seems to never end, all the group project that don’t count for anything, all the little assignments that count for half the grade and the two test which ultimately decide if you pass the class of not. But summer (well to me) isn’t what it used to be, like the days in elementary school, it seemed that summer would just go on and on. Now instead of sleeping in everyday, the realities of “grown-up” stuff seems to overcome most of the “lazy” of “lazy-days-of-summer”, but its reality.

Reality does bite sometimes. I got side-swiped by a car a week ago… it was not ideal at all… but then there is always a reason for everything, which I have still yet to figure out… I guess I will find out eventually….As of now besides volleyball tournaments, random vacations, and meetings, summer isn’t looking to empty… which is why I <3>
